These "Freedom Axle" kits are universal and can be switched from 4, 3 or 2 wheels in about 2 minutes time! Fully adjustable on the trail, very user friendly. This kit comes complete with adapters, wheel relocators and end caps for running a 2-wheel conversion. This kit is also great for doing set backs or adding length to take up track slop. By inverting the wheel relocators an additional 2.5" center to center are gained total. EXAMPLE: 151 to a 156 or 156 to a 159. PLEASE NOTE: It is never advisable to increase your wheel diameter without offsetting the increase. Often it is thought that by going to a larger wheel, you can cheaply take up track slop. This action will result in a weakened suspension and undue wear in your track by your rear wheels running below your hyfax. Conversion Kit Benefits: By running 2 inside wheels, this disperses the majority of the weight ratio from the right hand side more evenly. This allows the mountain/powder rider the agility to “boondock” or “carve” without fighting the outside wheels. This works exceptionally well when side hilling and gaining more traction and benefiting from the less wheel resistance. Please note that it is advised that MMP radiused, lifetime warranty wheels, MMP urethane coated wheels, or rubber coated wheels are advised to alleviate track wear. Our kits are proven with zero to minimum wear, while there are some billet wheels that experience track wear due to the manufacturer program.
